Learning To Live

I’m an AA degree graduate in Computerized Business Administration.   My job experience has been in the accounting industry.  I have done all aspects of accounting and some.   Some being that I have had to get into the technical part of if including software conversion of the system to an online based one.  Every job that I’ve had in accounting always put me in the dealing with the troubleshooting part of the programs.  So now I am planning to go back to school to finish my bachelor’s in finance.  I was told by the counselor that I should go for Technical Management with concentration in Finance.  This degree would equal to the bachelor’s in Finance except it covers the technical part of it as well.  So I’m not stuck with just doing the books, etc.

What I want to know is if this seems to be a good degree.  I am not too sure what technical management entails and I’ve tried to research as much as I can.  If anyone out there is in this position or knows anything about it, can you please enlighten me on this?  I would greatly appreciate it.   I don’t want to get into something I’m not too sure of.  Thank you.
